About Us

When Quality and Value Meet

Iowan, Herman John Bechtel, came to South Florida just before the great stock market crash of 1929 and set up his jewelry store and watch repair shop. Despite the Great Depression, which would take hold within a couple of years and last until the start of World War II, Herman John's humble establishment flourished. Eventually his son, Robert L. Bechtel, would take over - and then pass it on to his son, Robert T. Bechtel - who joined the business in 1973. "We've lasted this long because we've adhered to the guiding principles of my father. We have always provided the highest quality jewelry, services and repairs at very fair prices."
